Who are we?

The Southeastern Manitoba Music Teachers' Association is a co-operation of teachers whose goals are to:

  • Improve the quality of private and group teaching in Southeastern Manitoba by offering professional development opportunities for teachers

  • Expose our students to an array of performance opportunities

  • Promote a supportive, cooperation amongst each other to the benefit of the community by providing networking opportunities in a fun, relaxed environment

Points to consider in selecting a teacher include:

  • Music education

  • Level of experience

  • Personality

  • Studio Atmosphere

  • Type of programme offered
     

A good foundation is essential to the study of any art or science. It is therefore, especially important that the beginning student have the best possible teacher.
